aha thank you… i love to make my readers suffer…

what came first with witchy was the concept then a vague idea of the story, and then i kind of fleshed out the characters while i built up the plot? i had a very clear idea of who i wanted prill and batu to be from the beginning, but nyneve and veda have developed a lot since i actually started posting the comic. 

i dont recommend that as a way of working though, I mainly did it because if i didnt start witchy when i did i probably wouldnt have started it ever, and it’s an experiment for me so i just went with the flow. nyneve and veda are becoming a lot easier to write now, but prill and batu were easy from the very beginning.

I AM a very plot oriented writer, but when you have a very clear, distinct cast of characters  from the beginning, driving the plot forward becomes a whole lot simpler.
